Once the ship docked, he was the last of his brethren, so he saught a gun that can kill the past. However, this wasn't enough and only prolonged their suffering, in which they eventually turned on each other. He was born in the hold of a tradesman's ship, having to steal food from the captain's personal stores to feed his brothers and sisters to the point of obsession. He realizes his goal is to revert all of this, by killing his future self, the Lich, stopping him from becoming Gungeon Master and stopping the Great Bullet from falling, which would prevent the creation of the Gungeon. The Gunslinger is conscious of the Gungeon's situation and knows what happened there after he mastered it. When commanded by its master, EMP-R0R to kill the leader of the human resistance, it broke protocol, failing to eliminate humanity. The Robot was an honored member of the killbot army. Following this is a final scene where the Bullet is seen resting on a wood stump in some meadow-like area while various Gungeon enemies are seen cheerfully playing about. After successfully defeating the two and thrusting the wooden Blasphemy into Cannon's head, the true Blasphemy is created in a burst of fire and light. The Bullet travels forward in the Gungeon and faces two Chain Gunners, followed by Agunim and finally Cannon. The Bullet retrieves Blasphemy from a dying elder bullet. The Bullet is brought back to the Gungeon Proper in an unspecified time in the past. His gun having jammed, the Marine chose to flee in an escape pod, abandoning the scientists and his fellow guardsmen onboard the station to their doom.
